It is a reference to the racial stereotype that all Black people love
watermelon. The word "fetch" indirectly alludes to a Black comedy
character in the 1930s called "Steppin Fetchit", who was lazy and stupid
for comic effect.

Unless it's a fairly established common pun i completely fail to appreciate.
All children are supposed to love watermelon, and my granma for sure does.

I would be really surprised learning all Americans are proficient in the

Can You enlighten us (with code references) on just why *that* watermelon
should be something different from *just a watermelon*?
