I have a patch to pcl-cvs.el which eliminates the need for easy-mmode.el, which (IIRC) last time this was discussed on the list, we agreed would be better not to drag into the XEmacs packages. The reason I didn't announce this yesterday is that I was still testing it and found that some of the features didn't seem to work correctly. I'm looking forward to downloading your version and testing that, I'm very interested to see what changes you made (beyond, I assume, fixing the mapconcat 'identity to mapconcat 'int-to-string in a few places).
