Sorry if I was a bit unclear. As Mike points out this is its own interface towards mercurial. So it is different but I think it does its job but I guess I'm biased. I think with git and mercurial the command prompt is a better alternative than what I have seen in many IDEs ;-) So if you feel adventurous you need to read some info about its use. Try: (find-library "mercurial") and read how to get started.
