Another related bug, which I introduced, reported recently by
Greg, is that pixel height of a window may change witout changes
in toolbar sizes. The reason is that the mechanism which decides
whether toolbars sohuld be redrawn is flawed by design. I guess
I know the right fix, but I have to play more with it.
