I'm seeing the same problem, but I'm getting incompatibilities with the
version of ZLIB I'm building against. I'm using the version from
ftp.xemacs.org (in "/pub/xemacs/aux/win32"). It was built requiring
"libc.lib" as the default lib, but this conflicts with using
"msvcrt.lib" to
link "minitar.exe" together.
Are there more up-to-date versions of the graphics libs pre-built for Win32?
