Dear Bug Team!
When I change font size (from options->font size), some fonts are
affected: the Tab names, status bar etc.), but most code do not
change. The edited code do not change size.
I've just saw, that when I have fly spell turned on, and make a
mistake, this word to get to be in the new font size. Only till I
correct it, and then it goes back to the font of the rest of the
buffer.
This happens to us in versions 2.4.{10,11}, but works correctly on
2.4.3. We didn't test versions in between.

Works for me as advertised in the manuals in 21.4.12-minus-epsilon.
Can you provide a recipe, starting with "xemacs -vanilla", that
replicates the bug for you?

Hi,
Very simple:
1. run "xemacs -vanulla"
2. select Options->Font Size->24 (or other size which is highlighted).
The size of the font in the tab name ("scratch") and the status (mode?)
line changes, but the size of the text in the buffer do not change.
3. select Options->Font Size again, and you'll see that the size didn't
changed to the 24, but is still 12, as was on start-up.
I run xemacs 21.4.11, on linux. Configured with:
./configure --with_msw=no --with_x11=yes --prefix=/usr/mobileye
--with-gcc --site-libraries="/usr/lib/termcap /usr/lib/curses"

or Emacs*? What is the default font (should be Courier)?
Please run xemacs -vanilla and send the output of M-x
report-xemacs-bug (you should be able to just do C-c C-c in that
buffer, but if not save the buffer to a file and send it as an
attachment with your usual MUA).

I've checked, and removing all my Xdefaults didn't solve the problem.
I've checked different window managers - all the same results.
I've also noticed that setting a different font family behave the same
(buffer's text do not change).

Just some more tests I did:
1. Compiling with older (2.95.2) compiler: didn't help. (my regular gcc
is 3.1).
2. Compiling on a newer SuSE distro: I used a SuSE8.1 distro, with gcc
3.2 installed, and had the same problem.
It happens to all users here, so it is not something in my init files
(which is rolled out also because it happens on "xemacs -vanilla").
Will it help if I'll send you the whole installation I get, or some
configuration files of the build (which?) ?

some more checking results:
1. If I do M-x set-face-font, select default face, and change the size
there, it affects only the buffer's text (and it does work).
2. If I then try to set the font size from the option menu - all fonts
changes size (tab name, mode line _and_ buffer's text) - which is what
is expected in the first place.
3. compiling on a powerPC (SuSE 7.1 distro) - I have the same problem.
Is there any way I can help debug it? (trace functions or something like
that? I never did it before, but willing to try).
