Inge did propose the new functions on the xemacs-beta list. I don't
think he received any (useful) feedback.
I must have missed it then.
It sad when things like this go wrong. Anyway as soon as I find some
time I'll try to write the appropriate function for XEmacs which
should hopefully be relatively trivial.
Inge did you add any other function to the interface and/or do you
plan to?
