Right. I'm trying to figure out what Uwe's talking about, not tell him
he wants the wrong thing. I'm thinking it might be something that
automagically extracts interesting entry points.
There was some discussion on gnus.emacs.sources about how xemacs could
use some help with autoloads performance. There was also some
makefile thing posted in response to the genauto.el message.
It appears that what genauto.el does is combine autoloads from
various auto-autoloads.el files into one file. This was based on <5
minute analysis. I guess that would save some calls to fstat.
