If you have already checked out xemacs, you should use `cvs update -A'
along with your other favorite cvs and update flags. If you are doing
a fresh checkout, simply do not use any -r flag with `cvs checkout'.
This gives you the trunk == development code.
r21-2-47 is definitely not on the trunk. It is one the release-21-4
branch. This code is now being maintained for stability, not
features. (In some sense both are "the latest code", but they have
different purposes. You probably mean the trunk.) The next beta on
the trunk will be r21-5-0. (or r21-5-1, but I think Martin is a
zero-based kind of guy.) Neither of these exists yet AFAIK.
