Sun Motif is known to be rather buggy. See PROBLEMS under building
for a list of Motif patchs from Sun that have been useful to others.
They may be hard to apply. Reports are that if you get a really big
hammer and threaten the system, they'll apply and XEmacs will stop
crashing (at least in those parts of Motif).
