followup - after:
o load efs
o Options->Customize->Emacs->Files->Efs
o toggle efs-auto-save
o Set
o Save
o Done
o C-x C-c
the next time I start XEmacs, Efs is no longer in the Files menu and must
be loaded again before it appears
