Sorry, I was unclear (wrong citing). I meant "are you sure about it
crashing in report_extent_modification_mapper?".
The backtrace seems to indicate that it crashes in map_extents, which
is called by report_extent_modification_mapper() to see if any extents
have modification functions hooked into them.
