Adrian, the vc problem also exists with CVS. And I presume the other vc
problem I mentioned a while back still exists, where vc-cancel-version
could potentially move files to other directories.

Last time I touched it was to fix a pcl-cvs interaction issue.
I have more pressing issues on my list for a while, sorry.
Also, I have not been using RCS since my times on UNIX.
