It would be nice to define what FHS conformance would mean for XEmacs,
as we may all be talking about different things.
At least from the Gentoo perspective the one thing that really should
change is the location of the elisp files. These should be moved to
/usr/share instead of being in /usr/lib. When I investigated this earlier
it seemed that most of the other distributions also use this layout for
XEmacs. However, it is not possible to do this (at least for 21.4, I have
not yet looked at 21.5) without patching the source.
Having such an option would be great. :-)
