do you mean the patches by Ilya Zakharevich (author of cperl)?
Are we in the process of synching with it?
Not that I know. Presumably it would be a good thing. I suggest
talking to Ilya about it first if you want to so an XEmacs
implementation. Hopefully that part of the code is not so different in
the two.
