OK. When I think about it I'd guess a note to the package maintainer
could be a good idea to avoid doing the same thing twice?
But then again the question of files out of sync would probably only
be relevant for packages with "Maintainer: XEmacs Development
Team". Hopefully packages maintained by one person will be synced more
often.
Related. Is it recommended to sync against any Emacs release of your
choice, a particular release or latest in CVS?
