That's funny... I was thinking that my update/build today felt much
snappier than even the update/build from a day or two ago - esp. startup.
However, I was also thinking it might be due to the fact that this time I
built with
--package-path=/usr/net/rnd/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages
rather than
--package-path=/usr/net/rnd/lib/xemacs
so maybe it has to do less searching around during startup, but I don't
know enough about it to really know.
Also, I'm talking balls-out optimized rather than debug.
