Yeah, I was lucky (?) enough to have one pass through my neighborhood in
June of '98. It totally destroyed 3 homes up the street, damaged about 10
others and missed us by only 1/4 mile.
I knew there was a reason we insisted on having a basement when we built
our new house....
hehehe... my wife runs inside the house when the sky turns that particular
shade of greenish yellow. Liam and I camp out on the porch and watch the
mayhem. Ahhhh... real weather is one of the things I missed most when I
lived in seattle.
