The GPL issue must then be that the files needed to build the XEmacs Package binaries in the XEmacs Package Tree isn't included today with the binaries. If you can't download the build structure today, except through CVS, that is a problem then. For each SUMO release there should be a source tar ball as well I think. Some words on the same location issue from the GPL FAQ. I quote: "Can I put the binaries on my Internet server and put the source on a different Internet site? The GPL says you must offer access to copy the source code "from the same place"; that is, next to the binaries. However, if you make arrangements with another site to keep the necessary source code available, and put a link or cross-reference to the source code next to the binaries, we think that qualifies as "from the same place"."
