Hi Folks, When I try to run xemacs-21.4.2, I get an error with the init.el that is supplied by the XEmacs itself. My system is SunOS 5.7 The error says" Error in init file: Symbol's function definition is void: pending-delete-mode To ensure normal operation, you should investigate the cause of the error in your initialization file and remove it. Use the `-debug-init' option to XEmacs to view a complete error backtrace. First of all the -debug-init did not do shit. Second of all why doesn�t it print the line number in the init file that causes the problem? Thirdly why does it bail out of the init file because of one stinking error?
