Which manual are you referring to? The xterm manual or the XEmacs
manual?
... the XEmacs manual, I thought. Though on careful rereading I may
have been misintreting something intended not intended for
terminal-biased users...
There might be a sequence that tells color xterm to use an arbitrary
color specified with RGB, but I don't think XEmacs uses it. It might
not be too hard to make it use it, though...
