I know, I'm saying the memory usage *reported by XEmacs* seems
reasonable. The bloat is not accounted for by objects we count, not
even as a proportion, right?
If
M-: (garbage-collect) RET
returns nil, garbage will not be collected due to pure space overflow
when dumping.
At least that is the situation with Emacs, and there might be
something similar with XEmacs.
