Ar an chéad lá is fiche de mí na Nollaig, scríobh David Kastrup:
M-: (garbage-collect) RET
returns nil, garbage will not be collected due to pure space overflow
At least that is the situation with Emacs, and there might be
something similar with XEmacs.
Part of implementing the portable dumper involved removing support for
purespace, and this leak never stops garbage collection--it seems to be
independent of the XEmacs memory accounting.
When I was in the scouts, the leader told me to pitch a tent. I couldn't
find any pitch, so I used creosote.
