Jerry, can you fix it?
I'm having trouble getting around to looking at this, but my first
impulse is to try:
DATA_1_FILES = etc/cdtd
which will (hopefully) package up the entire directory, regardless of
its contents. Does that work? If not, I'll look into it in more depth
in a couple of days.
