RE: Bugs, bugs, bugs -- help!

My 10-year-old son once kept frogs in a terrarium, and we would pay at a pet store for the privilege of bringing crickets into our home. One day disaster struck and several of them escaped while being transferred into the terrarium at meal time, disappearing into the ductwork. The cat initially seemed interested, but wouldn't stay focussed on the pursuit. We tolerated the noise which was thankfully limited to the basement and ground floor of the house. A couple of weeks later, one of the frogs escaped, never to be seen again. Gradually the racket from the cricket population dwindled to what seemed to be about two or three of them. Every couple of months after that, one would pop up through the bathtub drain to be dispatched. HTH, Mike
