I have no problem browsing www.xemacs.org. I don't know what's with the ping, I don't get a response either, but many sites disable ICMP echo protocol (for example, my university does, so I have to log in somewhere else even to try ping). I think this is stupid, myself, but .... I'll talk to ibiblio, but "we're all volunteers here" (ibiblio is shorter of resources than most, from talk I've heard on other lists).
