Thanks for the recap, Stephen.
Whatever we come up with should ideally be short enough for a
headline.
See
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xemacs/
I have also changed the homepage link on SF from
http://xemacs.sourceforge.net/
to
http://www.us.xemacs.org/
to provide more of a corporate (or should I say orgic) identity.
That's non-controversial, I hope.
I agree that we should convey that XEmacs is more than an Editor.
We probably don't need to stress the Open Source part on the
SourceForge site.
How about the following?
The XEmacs Multi-OS Editing & Development Environment
Should we take a vote on these?
Here they are:
The XEmacs Multi-OS Editing & Development Environment
XEmacs - Open Source, Multi-platform, Multi-Language, and _More_ Than Just an Editor
XEmacs - Open Source, Multi-platform, Multi-Language, and a Way Of Life
XEmacs - Open Source, Multi-platform, and _More_ Than Just an Editor
XEmacs - The Multi-Platform Open Source Editor.
XEmacs - the Multi-Platform Open Source Editor and Environment
XEmacs - the Multi-Platform Platform
XEmacs Multi-Platform Open Source Editor
XEmacs, an Open Source Editor for MS Windows and Unix
