A probably incomplete list:
* Buttons. These days many modes have buttons or areas where the
mouse can be put to work. The modeline can be clicked in various
ways. Mouses have scroll wheels. None of these things existed when
Hyperbole entered the scene.
* WikiMode. This is an alternative way to easily create you personal
info system. You don't even have to create buttons you just write
them directly (using the WikiNotationRules)
* Other connections to the web. With w3 and w3m you can today browse
without leaving XEmacs.
