RE: Xemacs on RS6000-AIX4.3 : more information
In addition to some of the icons/buttons having no function, going
through the main menu to do the same functions also don't work
getting the same message.

Please describe as succinctly as possible:
- What happened. : Xemacs comes up fine but clicking on any of the
icons, like open file, gets and error message:
Symbol's function definition is void:
xpm-button-create
This is the same for at least the first 4
icons.
- What you thought should have happened.: For file open, a
directory listing
window would open for me to select a file to
edit.
- Precisely what you were doing at the time.: XEMACS window was open
and
I clicked on the first OPEN icon to edit a
file for the first
time and the above error message appeared.
Tried the
same for the next 3 and got similar messages.
Its like
the routines that are associated with the
buttons are not
found.
Xemacs is in /usr/opt/xemacs...
"tar -xvf" the downloaded binary tar file
And then started the app ....
