build problems with ben-mule-21-5 on Linux (powerpc)

I'm not sure that the (powerpc) is relevant, but I'm still having build issues with the current ben-mule tree. All the C code builds, and I get this nasty backtrace soon after. (attached) If anyone has any ideas, please tell me. -- Josh Huber
