The housekeeping of buffer-tabs is still broken however: After starting XEmacs it has only one tab for "*scratch*". I type C-x C-b (list-buffers) which gives me "*Buffer List*" in the lower window. No new tab for that buffer is created until I M-: (update-tab-in-gutter)
