In XEmacs 21.5 (beta4) "bamboo" [Lucid] (i686-pc-linux) of Mon Feb 4 2002 on shakti configured using `configure --with-postgresql=no --with-gtk' Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug and the precise symptoms of the bug: I am unable to set the font size from the pull down menu under options. font-menu-set-font signals an error, "Wrong type argument: number-char-or-marker-p, nil" I have copied the contents of the command below. During the installation of packages, the Netinstaller window is divided up into: * a line saying "Installing package" * a line giving the name of the package tarball * a line for the install directory (I think) * three activity bars showing the installation process The problem is that, when installing in "C:\Program Files", the third line gets broken into two lines at the space in the name and the second line gets partially covered over by the first activity bar making it impossible to read. URL handling in cygwin xemacs-21.4.6 again broken 22 years, 2 months

Hi According to the Changelog in ./src from 2001-10-25 the cygwin URL handling should be fixed. But the win32.c file has not applied the patch, which it definitely has in the windows branch. Ciao Volker

Tentative fix for gnuclient induced crash 22 years, 2 months

I've been having crashes where doing a C-x 5 0 in a frame created by `gnuclient -nw' causes XEmacs to crash with #4 0x080b659b in assert_failed ( file=0x82180e0 "/home/rpluim/xemacs-21.5/src/events.h", line=505, expr=0x8218160 "RECORD_TYPEP (obj, lrecord_type_command_builder)") at /home/rpluim/xemacs-21.5/src/emacs.c:3320 This is because we're deleting the tty frame, and then still trying to use the console structure that we've cached. The following patch to execute_command_event fixes it for me, but it doesn't feel right. Comments?
