Just for the record: idlwave 1.04 does not advertise itself to need an update because its version number is smaller than the icorrectly numbered 1.30. idlwave 1.04 1.30 Editing and Shell mode for the Interactive Data Language idlwave must be de-installed first, before the seemingly older version 1.04 can be installed.
