OFFT: Help with RedHat 6.2 Xserver config 24 years, 2 months

I just installed Red Hat 6.2, and seem not to be able to change display settings for the X server. What I have is 1280x1024 16bit, ??Hz vertical frequency, I set it up using Xconfigure. What I want is all that plus 75Hz exact vertical refresh rate. Otherwise, my display flickers heavily when I switch it between computers (I am using a switch). I think this is not the last topic I am going to suffer with. If anybody who is a linux expert and who is willing to answer a few newbie questions gets in touch with me directly, I'd appreciate it very much. TIA, Big K

Yes, I think Kyle and Jan are correct. Windows runtime problem: runtime error R6027 24 years, 2 months

Help! I just patched up my workspace-o-mammoth-changes from 21.2.27 to 21.2.30, and now temacs bombs out right at the beginning, with: runtime error R6027 - not enough space for lowio initialization This error is not even documented! (not that I can find, at least) Anyone have any clues what broke? -- Ben In order to save my hands, I am cutting back on my mail. I also write as succinctly as possible -- please don't be offended. Technically, it is possible, no doubt. The PE format aka COFF is documented very well, as is Win32 defined resource format. The problem is that we humans always seek easiest ways to achieve a result. The MS evil empire created a biggest temptation for us: One can put a binary chunk into an existing module resource section in 3 calls on NT (open-put-close), but this API does not exist on Windows95. As long as we seem to have fought this temptation, we are choosing the next easiest way... Big K

I still think it is a major change. In fact as a non "pending-delete"-er I would be highly annoyed at such a feature. On the other hand in pending-delete-mode it seems like it MUST do this for consistency.
