xemacs 21.1.6 crashed by some articles

Using Gnus 5.6.45 to read mail/news i found some articles to induce an
abort at line 4375 in file-coding.c caused by displaying the X-Face.
This behaviour is restricted to two authors. Untoggling the
X-Face-display, the articles are shown correct.
