Crash using gnuclient 25 years, 5 months

sendmail delay 25 years, 5 months

I noticed recently that when I use mail-send (C-c C-c in mail) I often see a considerable delay until xemacs will again respond to me (busy cursor is displayed for many seconds). I notice that mail-interactive is nil. It may be that this became try when I upgraded(?) to xemacs-21.0b61. It may also be that is when I upgraded to exim-2.05 (from exim-1.90). Anyone else see this?

No. It sounds utterly predictable as I've been through the same sequence. The hack-package-index.el file doesn't appear to have been added correctly to the repository, ie. it hasn't been added to the module that XEmacs.rules, the top-level Makefile, etc. are part of.

hack-package-index.el (batch-hack-package-index) 25 years, 5 months

In the changelog I find a reference to: hack-package-index.el (batch-hack-package-index) and in XEmacs.rules in the packages directory I find a reference to these as well. I don't find the file after checking out the sources though. My apologies -- trying to rebuild after a hard disk crash -- sort of starting off cold. Scanned and approved. Let's start testing this sucker. I'll fire off the scripts to create 21.2.9 if someone signs up to apply this to CVS and makes sure it compiles.
