All went well. XEmacs seems slower to start on the kde desktop -- don't know why that might be or if it's really so. I had to su to root and make-finder to get all finder files made. Patched from b36, egcs 1.02, libc5.4.44. Had to change some X resources from Emacs to XEmacs (background, foreground, and menu colors). Seems to be working fine.
