Thanks for the info. Since I just went to the trouble of getting the
.texi files to compile with v5.2, I'd consider applying a patch that
works for both v4.8 and v5.2. Failing that, I guess you can choose
to:
a) apply a platform-specific patch for v4.8, or
b) avoid the last round of texinfo-only patches

I guess it doesn't like something in the 0420ebf changeset? I've built
successfully after the a06923a changes.
