Hi,
Here comes yet another status report from the project of converting to
GPLv3 or later.
There are two lists of files below. The first list contains all files
that are in an undecided state. Please inspect: Do we need to do anything
with them. If so what?
The second list contains all files that we can leave untouched and the
reason for that. Please inspect: Are all reasons OK and correct?
Are we getting close to the were an inspection of the xemacs-gplv3
repository could be performed? With the intent that it that is OK we
could merge back to trunk and go GPLv3 or later?

I'm still trying to get a working, current XEmacs on Ubuntu (first time using this distro). XFT support is a key feature for me - if I'm going to look at a screen full of code all day, it better look nice!
I configured --with-xft, installed a whole bunch of fonts, but none of them seem to be available, either via the command-line "-font" flag, or through the options menu. In fact the Options/Font menu shows lots and lots of fonts, but they are all greyed out ... screen shot here - http://cgw.placeholderdomains.net/xemacs-font-menu.png
All of the font names are similarly greyed-out, but the two radio buttons for "DejaVu Sans Mono" are selected. This is running with '-q' and no X resources.
Any clue what I'm doing wrong here? Thanks!

The doc string for "Imap Expunge After Retrieving:" says:
"A nil value means messages will be left in the IMAP mailbox until you run `vm-expunge-imap-messages'."
However, I can't find that symbol anywhere. I only see
vm-expunge-folder and vm-expunge-pop-messages

Is there a work around to this bug?
Thanks and best regards,

I've copied the list because this may be of general interest.

Using the Windows setup kits, you should be able to install 21.4 and
21.5 side-by-side. I added support for that several years ago. I
don't remember the details, but it should just work (TM).
The 21.5 version has mule support, whereas the 21.4 version does not,
but I don't think you'll run into trouble with that.

The info file (and the texi source) for bigfloats says:
Bigfloats are created automatically when a number with yes
What does that mean? How do you create a bigfloat?

Hi,
Following other advice on the internet, I've turned off the progress widget and no longer see the crash.

Hi there,
I finally found some time to put my Haiku port on bitbucket:
https://bitbucket.org/mmu_man/xemacs/src/?at=xemacs-haiku
It's not really usable yet, there are still some regressions like the
window shrinking down way too much on startup, though it can be resized,
and I still didn't managed to build libxpm standalone (I wanted to avoid
having to build an X server just for that), so the button display random
crap.
François.
