Hi all,
I had to make a few edits to
src/doc.c
src/eval.c
src/fns.c and
src/lread.c
so that S1SCC8 (SunONE Studio 8 C Compiler) would
get everything compiled.
compiler version string is

If you leave this Lisp_Objects as REGISTER then
the mesage from S1SCC is
