Failed to dired in XEmacs 21.5 (beta14)

Hi.
I installed XEmacs-21.5.b14(FreeBSD 5.0-RELEASE +
XFree86-4.2.0) and do dired,but failed to complain as
follows:

Nothing has happened at 21.4.12 with same init.el.

The newest version of my patch retained `struct stat;' in from
"lisp.h" because removing it *may* break compilation on windows (never
tried it anyway).
"syswindows.h" does not `#include <sys/stat.h>', but uses `struct
stat'. It will be ok when "sysfile.h" is included before it or if
`struct stat;' remains in "lisp.h".
When "syswindows.h" included in "glyphs-msw.h" included in
"frame-msw.c", "sysfile.h" is not included before. How will
"frame-msw.c" compile on windows witout `struct stat;'?

[Bug: 21.5-b14] Error on CVS Update Directory, but only when --with-gtk

Dear Bug Team!
The error trace below occurs when clicking Tools->VC->CVS Update
Directory. Other operations might trigger it, but I haven't hit them
yet. Other things I have done with this build is run the latest Oort
gnus from the packages, which worked quite well.
What is weird (to me) about this error, is that it doesn't happen if I
build without --with-gtk. Odd that a window system choice would
affect the byte-code parsing below.

Most of what you sent looks much the same as what I got on my build, so
I won't bother copying it to the list. In fact, the entire configure
and compile looks quite normal, except for the reams of warnings, which
I also got. I'll have to see if I can do something about that. It's
hard to spot real problems in the middle of all that noise.
