psgml DTDs moved 22 years, 3 months

Ok, I've just committed the psgml package split that was discussed previously here. Here's an executive summary of what I did (see also the patch message in xemacs-patches, and the new psgml-dtds package directory). - Moved everything except iso88591.map from psgml/etc to psgml-dtds/etc. iso88591.map is part of the upstream psgml package, it was moved to psgml/ to match upstream layout. - Moved the DTD compilation stuff from psgml to psgml-dtds. - Made psgml to look for DTDs from psgml-dtds' data-directory by default, in addition to the ones it used to search from. - Made psgml-dtds require psgml (and a couple of other packages that are required when compiling the DTDs), but not vice versa. - psgml-dtds' package description notes that it's obsolete. I've tested this somewhat myself, and Rendhalver has done some testing too, so things shouldn't be horribly broken. More testing is very much welcome, I think Rendhalver will roll pre-release packages of these soonish. I'll send in website and man/xemacs/packages.texi patches later today. Xlib:sequece lost. Continued. 22 years, 3 months

I've submitted a bug report through xemacs a few days ago, not sure if you actually received it. It's about xemacs freezing and getting the Xlib: sequence lost (0x80000 > 0x785af) in reply type 0x1! error. Just wanted to add a few details : I think (although I'm not sure) that this problem happens more aften when I work with ClearCase. There are two differences in this case: 1. I work with mvfs filesystem and xemacs may have an issue with mvfs (or mvfs may have an issue with xemacs :) 2. It may not be directly connected to mvfs, but mvfs is actually very slow - may be this fact triggers the above error.

This works in xemacs 21.1.14 or GNU emacs 21.2.1 but not in xemacs 2.4.9. Paren highlighting, and keyword coloring work fine. * XEmacs 21.4.9 "Informed Management (Windows)" is released. "Informed Management" is the ninth in the OXYMORON series. XEmacs 21.4.9 "Informed Management (Windows)" is the fifth in a series of MS-Windows focused releases of XEmacs. The intent of this release series is to provide source and binary distributions of the XEmacs 21.4.x series with any additional fixes or enhancements necessary to provide a pleasurable editing experience on the MS-Windows platform. Source is available via cvs at cvs.xemacs.org. This release has the release tag r21-4-9-windows and the most current snapshot will always have the branch tag windows-21-4. The binaries for both cygwin and native MS-Windows are available via the XEmacs netinstaller which can be found at http://www.xemacs.org/Download/win32/setup.exe This version of the installer is 1.2.2.11.2.11. Brief summary of Changes relative to vanilla 21.4.9 - Fix layout of widgets so that the search dialog works. - Fix focus capture of widgets under X.
