The only things we added to the *-msw.c-files are pdump descriptions for devmode in device-msw.c and for mswindows-dialog-id in dialog-msw.c.
There is also the dumpable flag missing, I sent Mike a patch which fixes this (I think he will commit this soon).
We changed nothing in event-msw.c or in any other *-msw-file.

21.5.8: sub-process hangs while qp-decode'ing

when cvs updating from beta7 to beta8, something i guess happened in
the sub-process code.
when VM tries to do some qp-decode'ing, it hangs in the
sub-process. i've tried both the qp-decode and mmencode -u -q and they
both hang.
not sure how to debug this one, since even if i set Debug on error, i
have to kill the sub-process and i get no trace.

xemacs-21.4.8 as compiled by me crashes on startup. Back-traces to
