Urgent business
I will like to begin by way of introduction, my name is Abudu Masabela, a native of cape town, south Africa and a senior employee of the South Africa department of mining and natural resources currently here in amsterdam on a trade mission.
I am writing this letter to solicit your cooperation and participation in a business deal to redeem an investment interest currently being held under trust with the South Africa ministry of mining and natural resources. The said investment now valued at US$18,500,000.00 million was originally purchased by Mr Lucio Manfred and leased to a company the Transvaal Orange mining corporation in 1979. Since the maturity of the contract in September 1989 several attempts have been made without success to contact Mr Lucio manfred or any of his relatives in whose favour the investment cash value can be paid.
My partner who is the accounts director at the ministry of mining and two of our colleagues have initiated the process of filling a claim for this money with the hope of having the funds transferred abroad. We request therefore that you let my partners file a claim for this money from South Africa ministry of mining and natural resources indicating that you where appointed by Mr Lucio Manfred to be the beneficiary of this funds. When the claim is approved, you as the beneficiary will be paid the sum of US$18,500,000.00 United States Dollars. Since this money will be paid directly to any bank account of your choice you are liable to ensure that my partners and I receive 75% of the total sum while you keep 25%for your services. Please we urge you to keep this matter very confidential because we are still in active public service in South Africa.
I want to assure you that my partners are in a position to make the payment of this claim possible provided you can give us a stong guarantee that our share will be well secured and that you will not take advantage of our position since the money will be transfered directly to your bank you are nominating.

Dear Bug Team!
I started xemacs for the second time, started "Read Mail 2 (MH)" from
the Tools/Internet menu, read a number of messages. Then I tried to
increase the font size to 14(pt?) via the Options/Font Size menu,
the option is labeled "0". On doing this xemacs crashed. I was asked to look for a
file called core, but there is none in my home dir where I started
xemacs. Also it said:

And a last one: the uname below is wrong, probably its from the Debian

I've started getting crashes when exiting from XEmacs, and I'm
not sure why. Below is the message it gives me when exiting,
followed by a backtrace from the coredump. All I have to do
is start xemacs, press Ctrl-X Ctrl-C to exit, and it coredumps.

i have a question about building latin-unity
i get this when i do a build

does latin-unity-tables.el need to be there if it gets rebuilt everytime ??
i ask because latin-unity is breaking the pkg-build script because of
this required user interaction
and also because of the semingly generated nature of the file

Dear Bug Team!
there seems to be a package generation problem with the latest
ps-print package. When I call pretty-print I get "Signaling:
(void-function set-buffer-multibyte)" (see attached backtrace). This
message goes away and everything works, if I evaluate the plain lisp
file "ps-print.el".

XEmacs crash upon startup

In the past, I've successfully built XEmacs versions 21.4.9 &
21.5-b9. However, I cannot build them anymore without --pdump. If I
compile with --pdump I get an executable. However, when I try to run
the executable I get a core dump immediately. They run fine in a
terminal (i.e. xemacs -nw). The results of the run are given in files
xemacs-21.4.9-pdump & xemacs-21.5.9-pdump.
If I compile without --pdump I get an error when the
compilation process reaches:
Dumping under the name xemacs
Testing for Lisp shadows...
The results of the compilation are given in the attached files
xemacs-21.4.9 and xemacs-21.5-b9.

Fine with me, as long as it doesn't interfere with the our build/release
process and if it's ok with Rendhalver. I think just about everyone has
mule-ucs around when building latin-unity.
A little more verbose explanation in the Makefile would perhaps save a
few Q&A later if the experiment turns out to be there to stay...
