This is a gdb session. gcc seem to've optimized away the "widget"
variable, hence (*kids[0]). I don't really grok this stuff, so please
let me know what I can do. This is xemacs 21.1.10 with mule this
time.
Looks like `kids[0]' already have been free()d too me. (Look at the
`name' field, a garbled string.)

I applied this patch, and it helped - kind of... but getting the
package index still fails, with the following messages:

It would help if someone could explain what exactly the problem is so
I can communicate with Stefan. As it stands, not knowing MULE, I
don't know what exactly this patch fixes. Related question: will the

On mine too - thanks Dan. FWIW, although the patch from Adrian Aichner
did help to get rid of the error when trying to cwd to a file, getting
the packages index still did not work. With your patch, it works fine
again.

saved the result as rtf-support.doc
opened it with MS Word
and went into a state of ultimate shock!
It looked like an XEmacs buffer (except for some minor coloring
differences).
I only regained my senses when I found that
C-M-h runs the command c-mark-function
didn't work in Word.
