Bug fix in pcl-cvs.el 25 years, 5 months

There is a bug in the file pcl-cvs.el. In the function cvs-run-process, if the variable cvs-cvsroot is defined, an error is generated (Malformed list: (? \ -?d. / tmp)). This error was caused by a lisp code error. I should probably do this require inside ldap.el but I am a little reluctant to do so because as you will see loading xemacs-ucs takes ages (over 40 elisp files to load). I will probably send a patch to default `ldap-coding-system' to nil instead until UTF-8 support becomes more convenient to use. Oscar

Build failure, xemacs-21.1.2 on rh6-based linux-alpha-unknown 25 years, 5 months

ldap fails with utf-8 error 25 years, 5 months

In 21.2.15, when I use the menu Tools->Directory Search->Query with Form to look up a name, I get an error saying utf-8 is an unknown coding system. In 21.1.2, the same query produces the expected results. The doc for ldap-coding-system says utf-8 is the right one and Mule support is needed. What version of Mule or set of Mule files do I need to get this? Or should I just set it to nil for now? It works if I set ldap-coding-system to nil. Ray
