Gunnar et al, I tried to biuld XEmacs 21.2.13 under Solaris 2.6/SPARC (Japanese) and got the following build error. Any suggestion how to proceed from here? LANG was "ja" when building this. jsp mode? 25 years, 6 months

Are there any plans to add a mode for editing JSP files to XEmacs? Basically, a jsp editing mode would consist of HTML mode, but between the "<% %>" and "<%= %>" tags, it would have to edit in Java mode. Is this at all possible? Jonathan

Huh? It may not be intelligent ,perfect, hackish etc etc but from the look of the code it does exactly that. When fontifiying a region it looks up the mode in an extent property and then fontifies according to that. Jan
