BTW I don't like the idea of making gpm-mode a C function. You really should do the interface in lisp. Nope, that's not how it works - you tell it what method and it automatically constructs the function name from the console type (tty) and method name (set_mouse_position). I just cheat a little and set the method slots directly. -Bill P.

[Bonus points] include the xterm only file that libgpm supports in the source so that if you are not on Linux you still get xterm mouse support. 3. Make XEmacs support the GPM selection protocol.
