You check whether the bug is fixed in Ilya Zakharevich latest version (which it probably is) and then do the sync that is long overdue :-). If it is not fixed by Ilya., you do the sync anyway, Ilya is again the maintainer and you mail it him. Problem Solved :-) Jan P.S. The only really import XEmacs specific stuff in our versions is the support for delete-key-deletes-backwards. IIRC

I very often use isearch to just look something up below and then type C-g to get back where I was. Although I am trying to get used to using vcursor.el for that kind of stuff. Jan

Can't build latest CVS Sources 25 years

The culprit seems to be 'uid_t'. Where is it defined? Thanks, norbert.

Additionally, the same code will work with and without Mule, now that non-Mule XEmacs has make-char.
