I am. People are not complaining because you *did* make things faster
by limiting the recursion depth (remember that the number of stats
used to be >2000).
However, when I compare the 21.0 startup time with 20.4, 21.0 is
horrendously slow. Part of this is because of autoloads, and a good
part is because of the stats.
